I had slept with the Made in Patagonia heating system on full blast. I mean covered with the 6 blankets plus my sleeping bag. I remember that before I fell asleep I also put my hat on my head for fear of catching a cold. Besides, the phase with the cold or being sick on the road created a kind of stress for me at the beginning, because no matter how seriously, or less seriously, I got sick, it would have been a significant discomfort while riding the motorcycle. I had to be very careful with anything that meant a risk of illness.
In the morning I woke up in a very good mood, especially since it was going to be a day off when I was going to see the famous marble cathedrals. Some limestone formations carved by wind and water into the shore of the lake, which had a ceiling like cathedral vaults.
